Apparently, not all Black people are ecstatic about the results of the 2008 Presidential Election. Radio talk show host, Larry Elder, controversial author of "Stupid Black Men" and an outspoken opponent of affirmation action measures that assist minorities, resently expressed his doubts about an Obama Administration while appearing as a guest of NBC4 Los Angeles' Laurel Erickson.
A strong supporter of George Bush and John McCain, Elder left his host visibly stunned at certain points of the conversation with statements like: "Bush had nothing to do with Katrina."
It is unfortunate that a prominent African American, while the rest of the world is celebrating the miraculous election of Barack Obama to the highest office on the planet, would choose to publicly praise the worse U.S. President in history, and to question the competency of our President Elect.
Obviously, Mr. Elder needs help. And so we must not forget to include him in our prayers for the misguided.
